I have been working in the counselling field for almost 20 years. I started my career in 1998 as a volunteer at the Crisis Line. Since then I have worked at the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre, the Greater Victoria Child and Family Counselling Association, Family Services of Greater Victoria, and Specialized Youth Detox.
I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, which I completed in 2003. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (#3360), and I opened my private practice in 2012.
On a personal note, my partner and I have two beautiful children. I am an animal and nature lover, and I enjoy yoga, swimming, hiking, and a good book.
